Throughout the world, gambling is enjoyed as a recreational activity. The majority of people participate at levels appropriate to their financial circumstances but for a small number of people, gambling can become a problem.

AusVegas Online Casino maintains a strong commitment to responsible gambling. In 2003, we partnered with 14 other industry, government and community bodies to form a Working Party responsible for developing a Code of Practice for Northern Territory gambling providers. The Code contains practices to be implemented to achieve industry 'best practice' in the delivery of gambling services.

As a responsible Gaming Operator we actively discourage and pursue minors who attempt to play at our gaming site. Age checks are conducted by AusVegas Online Casino staff to detect underage players.

  • Age Verification

As we are a Government Licensed and Regulated Casino, we request you provide us with proof of your name, age and address within 90 days of becoming a cash player at our site. This is a once only request, and you will not be required to provide it again when playing at our site.

Failure of a player to provide suitable identification to AusVegas Online Casino within 90 days of becoming a cash player will result in the closure of their account.

  • Bet Limits

We realise that on occasions a Player may exceed their personal spending limit. Therefore our site allows a player to reduce their own bet limits so they do not exceed a limit that is comfortable for them.

  • Self Exclusion

The Self Exclusion is a facility to be used if people feel they need to take a break from our site. Once Self Exclusion has been placed, it cannot be removed. Self-Exclusion enables players to exclude themselves from the site for the period selected. During this time players cannot play cash games. If a player excludes themselves three times in the life of their account they will be banned from playing indefinitely and the balance of the account will be refunded.

Once a third and final self-exclusion is initiated it cannot be revoked.

  • Counselling Services

AusVegas Online Casino is aware that occasionally some people develop problems with gambling. We have consulted with Amity Community Services who understand and deal with people in these situations on a regular basis. We have sponsored a web site for Amity Community Services to assist people who recognise that they may have a problem.

We encourage you to view the site and complete the self-assessment form, which will help you to identify if a problem exists.
